Hey dolls! I am actually sat in my NY hotel room right now eating a bag of cheetos as I write this, I wanted to get it up before but I ran out of time! Here is everything beauty-wise I have brought here to New York with me and how I packed it! Thought it might be interesting (I hope so!)I have posts coming up from my days here! I didn't get to take too many pictures today as we've been so tired, im falling asleep! But i'll post what I done anyways =]
I'm here till the 31st (Tuesday) and Im doing a meet-up on sunday if anyone was interested in coming!

A particularly perfect package

Hey dolls,
Today I was pottering around the house when I heard the front door buzz and to my surprise there was a package from Fashionology.nl for me!
I pretty much ran upstairs and opened it and this is what was inside! I feel like the designs are very whimsical and cultural, I love the different stones and the theme of purple and silver..Im a big lover of layering silver Jewellery!

I have quite a few pieces of Fashionology jewellery and the pieces I have havent even tarnished (If they have atall its minimal) and i've had some for at least a year! (Basically,better than Topshop quality jewellery haha)
The jewellery all feels very sturdy, nothing I've had from them has broken and I love how Fashionology has on-point, on-trend jewellery, I think the only bummer is that they are not based in the UK but from what I can recall it dosent take alot more than a week for the items to be shipped to the UK.

Anywho Im rambling a little bit but it was so nice of Fashionology to send me these items, I just wanted to share them with you guys straight away! It was a surprise package and they havent asked me to blog or talk about the pieces I just love them this much! ^_^

I snapped this outfit the other evening, I realise though I done the jumper-shirt thing a few posts back I apologise! I've been wearing that combination alot though recently, Its comfy and still stylish looking I reckon! The jacket I stole from the boy and it is wayy too big to wear out really but I love the rugged look of it so thought it would look good with the outfit, I studded it myself! but I want to make one for myself in a smaller size at some point!

Burberry makeup - My view

Hey dolls, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a good one =D
Just before christmas I was sent over some things from Burberry (Gasp!) I was so so happy and surprised that they sent me some bits because I am always up for trying new makeup brands especially designer ones! & Burberry is quite the legend. They also sent me a Silk trench coat which is BREATHTAKING, I still cant believe it! Im going to feature that in a post soon, I didnt want to take a picture of it without it being part of an outfit!
I was sent over; Burberry sheer foundation in No.5 Lip cover in Nude rose No.25 Effortless Mascara in Midnight blonde Warm glow in Summer glow No.4 Sheer eye shadow in Porcelain No.3 Sheer eye shadow in Midnight brown No.21 Eye definer in Midnight brown No.2
The makeup is all round very luxurious and Effortless, The idea I get is that their line of makeup is all about looking natural, glowy and fresh. I feel as though it would be hard to go overboard with the makeup unless you really layer it up or pack it on. I love the colours and tones of the makeup I received, Im very into nude shades so Im a fan of everything!
Foundation: Light coverage and quite a dewy finish, Scented, I like the scent but not everyone might like a scented fondation obviously! Good colour match for me, I maybe could of gone slightly darker though. It stayed on during the day with powder but I like my foundations with a little more coverage personally! Great for summer though.
Eyeshadows: The colours are GORGEOUS they have great pay off and are quite pigmented, I love the finish of them, They remind me a little of MAC shadows, The lighter one is like Ricepaper from MAC and the dark brown I dont have a dupe of but is such a stunning, slightly shimmery chocolate brown colour, defiantly one of my favourite browns now.I dont think they are better than the MAC shadows but they are better than the NARS ones i have tried so far in comparison.
Bronzer:The packaging of the bronzer and basically all of the makeup is divine, This bronzer I could take out though and use as my mirror and feel fancy! Its a nice colour but dosent show up much on my skin which is a shame, I have tried better bronzers but its good to have to add a flush of colour if I need it.
Lipstick: The first thing that I noticed about the lipstick was the magnetic packaging! They sent me over a great shade actually because many colours look odd on me, This colour is again a nude and its a 'your lip colour but better' shade. It is quite light on the lips and you would need to re-apply it during the day but looks very natural and is flattering.
Mascara: I was sent over the brown version of the mascara & I dont usually wear brown mascara because I dont see the point but I would purchase this in black, I love the brush and again the packaging feels so high end and fancy! It is see-through which is also different for a mascara and it does work well but as its brown just dosent show up as well as it could
Eye pencil: This pencil is lovely its creamy and is dark brown with shimmers, Would work as a great base or to line the inner eyes, not too much to say, a lovely pencil! Not too unique in colour but is easy to work with.
Overview:I really love the collection from what I have seen of it, again it is very luxorious and many of the products feel quite heavy, All the packaging has the Burberry check engraved and it is even etched into the powders (Which i feel like I shouldnt ruin haha) I think alot of it is dupeable, as in you can find the same colours elseware if you really wanted to but if you are interested in trying out something from burberry I would definatly recommend it, It is nicely scented and its something you would feel proud to whip out of your makeup bag!
Fave products: Eyeshadows & lipstick Least favourite: Mascara
I know this post was VERY long compared to my usual ones but I hope you found it somewhat helpful and maybe its something new to have a gander at!

Hope you all had a great christmas!! Mine was good but at times a little stressful! But hey thats christmas for ya!
I got some amazing goodies that I am so thankful for and I had a great bonding time with my family ^_^
I've included some pics from christmas day/around christmas day, it was also my sisters 18th bday on the 25th so there a christmas prezzie thrown in there!
I feel so heavy from all the over-indulging over the christmas period that I am actually really looking forward to detoxing and going back to the gym!

Graduation

Last friday it was my graduation, I studied Fashion styling at Southampton solent university.
I have a video also from the day =] I didnt want to wear black because I thought it would be too much but then loads of people wore black! I was like 'ooh' haha!
It was a good but very long day and it was nice to see some of my friends again!

Flying high on the eye - Glossybox event

Not so long ago I was very lucky to have been asked to be a glossybox ambassador! I accepted with glee and not long after Glossybox hosted an event on the London eye for the ambassadors, I hadnt been on the eye before so this was so exciting! The team were lovely, so friendly (not to mention gorgeous!) and they chatted to us about what it will be like to be a part of the team and about up-and-coming things they have in store. They are soon releasing the mens glossybox which will be quaterly and men will receive 7 products/samples and we will get a sneeky peek at the mens box. I was so happy to finally meet the lovely Zoe from zoella and Louise from sprinkle of glitter, i was also with Gracie from Theuglyfaceofbeauty who of course I had met before! The girls are so much fun to be around and so bubby! I also had the chance to see many bloggers and youtubers again such as Katie from dollybowbow and Millie from Pealsandpoodles! Mi millie!
A fabulous night and a fabulous event, Im happy to be a part of the team =] Afterwards me and Gracie went and had dinner at chiquitos which was AMAZING, my love for mexican food is growing & growing! Thank you to Glossybox & I hope you guys like this post even though the lighting wasnt too good!

World of winter wonderland

Hey dolls, The other day I headed down to Winter wonderland which is in Hyde park, I hadnt been before so was quite excited! btw NEVER park in Knightsbridge, so snooty & expensive! Anyway it was good! I had some German beer, Ricky had a massive sausage (haha) Then we got some candied cashews, a waffle but I didnt eat much of it because I hate whipped cream! and I got a crepe ^_^We just pondered around, it was SO busy!Theres alot to see there, jewellery stores, clothes/hats, food, rides, ice skating etc. I tried to get a good pic of my outfit but it wasn't easy so this was the best I could do! I bought the velvet dress from Topshop when I met up with the girls the day before =] It was a fun time but if you go, you need at least £20! Food and drinks are mainly all £4 which is a rip off! Not cheap but a great wintery/festive day/night out.
Have you guys been? thinking of going? I recommend it!

Hey dolls, Today I was in central and I picked up a few bits, this is what I wore, I got alot of stares at my leggings haha, I dont think they are the most flattering! =/ but a fun trend to wear if that makes any sense. I got the American apparel disco pants in black which I have been putting off for AGESSS because they are so expensive but I think i'll wear them alot so its justified! What do you guys think of them? I love em! Also picked up a 'peace' moschino-like belt from urban outfitters and some more storage from Muji. Theres also a random pic of the boy's new hat, I thought it was cool!

MOTEL and Glossybox event

Hey dolls! Thursday night I was kindly invited to the MOTEL & Glossybox event just off of oxford street, It was held in what I think was their showroom, it smelt of buttery popcorn and there were glossy balloons everywhere! There was also candy floss, girls doing funky nail designs and a range of gorgeous MOTEL clothes out on display. I love MOTEL so I was so pleased I had the chance to go, we got to choose one item from the range also to have for ourselves which was so nice of them! I went with my girlies from youtube (you probably know of them! :p) we mingled, had some drinks & munched on some popcorn and lola's cupcakes (im such a messy eater oops) We did have to dart outside sometimes to get some air because it was SO hot! I met some lovely people and some people ive been dying to meet for ages! I should have a MOTEL piece quite soon so when it comes I will share that with you guys.
The people who hosted the event and who worked at MOTEL and Glossybox were all really friendly and down to earth which was nice because thats not always the case at events.
Thank you very much to MOTEL and Glossybox for such a swanky, glam event ^_^

Glossy & Boudoir

Hey dolls, I know many of you would have seen alot of posts featuring these types of 'beauty boxes'. Basically you can sign up to receive a box of high-end samples (which are sometimes even full size or a large sample) It's usually around just over £10 a month due to shipping costs aswell and you receive products which are more tailored to you also so everyone gets sightly different boxes.
Anywho! So I received the October glossybox and october Boudoir prive' last month and I am very sorry this is late because obviously its november! But Its more about my opinions and a slight comparison. I have received Glossyboxes for a few months now and I loved the first box! However the next boxes I were sent I ended up only liking one or two of the products, I think its because it contained alot of skincare and hair products and I dont really experiment with my skincare too much, I rather enjoy trying out new makeup! It does have some gems but if you are paying that much for one or two samples you may like im not sure if it might be worth it? I totally depends on the person! The plus side is you do get quite good sized products.
This was my first Boudior prive' box, I had heard a little about them before and was very keen to have a look and see what the difference was, its a little more a month but I actually loved this box! I liked many of the products and they are products I would really use/love to try out. You get a few more products but the down-side is that because there are more, they are smaller but I don't mind that personally, as long as I like the products! So below I have picked out my favourite products from each of the boxes =] Glossybox: Stila smudge liner - This is a gorgeous eyeliner, its like a smudge stick, it is a dark olive colour with small sparkles, It works best when you build it up with a few layers and gives such good colour pay-off and will last even longer if you set it with a bit if eyeshadow. Boudoir Prive': Studiomakeup line styler pen - A felt-tip style eyeliner, long lasting, deep black colour and its so easy to use...just a great eyeliner! much better than the MAC one which is a failure! Rose petal salve - I don't think i've used such a softening lip product...ever! Its sooo conditioning I love it, i'm not usually a fan of the rose scent but this is my exception! Highly recommend it. KORRES Guava body butter - the smell of this is...AMAZING it does a great job at moisturising the skin and is just such an amazing product im so glad I have now discovered it! Everyone has to go out and just smell this it makes you want to eat it!
Overall, the comparison at the moment has resulted in me preferring the Boudoir prive' box, It contained so many lovely products, Glossybox also does but I think its because you get more products in the BP box and the products also were up my street! If the next glossybox contains more products i'm into I might be swayed but If I had to choose, boudoir prive' wins!

Cosmo blog awards!

Hi dolls!
This wednesday I was invited along to the Cosmo blog awards! I was nominated and shortlisted in the 'beauty vlogger' category alongside many other AMAZING youtubers, I was stunned to find out, I WON! I'm so excited to have won! I want to say thank you so much to everyone who voted for me, I appreciate it so much! ^_^
So I headed on down to the awards which were just off of Carnaby street in London, along with Lexi (Who was also shortlisted!) and we also met and chilled with Suzi a little later! We had a few cocktails, munched on the Canapés and watched the wall projection of blogs and youtube channels being displayed. We had a few photos taken at the photobooth which was fun! Then we were called over to the other end of the room for the announcements of the awards! My category was close to the last so It was a rather anxious time, When my name was called I was like...WHAT?! haha, I had to rush over to the little stage from the back of the crowd, pick up my award and pose for a quick photo! (I was so nervous about it! I felt my heart beating so fast haha)
Afterwards we had a bit of photo-time in the toilets (as you do) chatted away and then we made our way home! We all received an AMAZING goodybag, contents above, I also show everything in my video =] I also wanted to say congrats to everyone who was shortlisted and who won on the night! It was such a great experience and im so thankful to have even been invited.
So again, thank you guys for supporting me and voting! I wouldnt be anywhere if people didnt read my blog and watch my videos ^_^

American Apparel Flea market

Hey dolls!
So last thursday I went up to Brick lane because there was an American Apparel flea market on! (up 90% off everything) It was on till tuesday and I wanted to get this post up as a 'heads up' and tell you guys to go but I again could'nt get round to it!
It was MENTAL! I went with the boy and we waited in the queue for about an hour which winded its way up brick lane and moved quite slowly. When we eventualy got in it was mayhem! Girls, boys, clothes flying around everywhere, sections which were apparently changing rooms (you saw the odd flash of bum), The queue wound round the whole room. I looked around for about half an hour, the clothes that were there wernt the BEST of the clothes AA do but if you looked properly you could find some gems. Then we waited in the queue to pay for about 40 minutes, GOSH!
They advertised it as a massive sale, 90% off, loads of things for £1, in reality most things were around £15/20 and only the nail polishes were £1 but still I figured the amount all these clothes will come to is the equivalent of about 2 things when you go in the actual store!
So above is what I got my hands on! I wonder if any of you guys went or heard about it?

Alton towers '11

Hey dolls! Ok so my claim that I wasn't going to be as bad as last week...was pitiful! =[ Im so sorry guys! The week has been so crazy again, I got back from Alton Towers yesterday, I went on friday and came back saturday,It was great! The park was open till 9pm and there were mazes and a zombie walk-through and all sorts ok cool crazy things! ^_^ I went with Ricky (the boy) and we stayed in the splash landings hotel overnight, we were sooo tired by the end of the day! (I had been up since 4am) On the second day we went on oblivion twice, got some doughnuts and then headed back home (as you do). I didnt get too many pics from the trip but here are a few! I'll have a vlog video up soon from Alton Towers, Hope you all are well!
Have any of you been recently? I recommend it around halloween time!

Hey dolls, Oh my gosh im so sorry I havent updated for a week! Thats really bad, This week went so quickly and I couldnt think of what to blog or just didnt have the time! This was my outfit today, similar to a look I styled for my recent 'how to style jumpers' video but I hope you like! I wanted to wear the faux fur all day but couldnt as the weather was so strange! Had quite a nice day, I avoided the main shopping centers because on saturdays they are too much! Just went for a nandos with my sister and after looked around some charity shops but didnt find anything good =[ I've got a few posts coming up soon, promise I wont be as bad this coming week!

Was strolling around Richmond the other day, Me and the boy went to eat at 'Gourmet burger kitchen' It was yummy, their onion rings! *drool*Then we just chilled, I went into some charity shops but didnt find diddly-squat =[ It was nice to walk along the river and thats where the snaps were taken.
Its been really odd weather recently, it was kind of overcast at the time...Again, dont panic! i was wearing my trusty H&M skirt under the shirt so no bottom mishaps!

So I wore this outfit recently, I was just looking around town etc, its been soooo hot recently in the UK and its going to be for a few days. I actually want to wear cosy jumpers but the weatherman isn't having it haha

I got this bow from primark for £2 the day before and I thought it would be such a cute detail to an outfit like this one, let me know if you like the idea!

Hey dolls,
So my litas FINALLY arrived! WOOO!
Ok theres kind of alot I want to say but I dont want to make this post too long!I ordered these litas from Solestruck which is an american site on the 31st of august...yeah...august! They say it will take up to 10 days to arrive but no I was waiting until yesterday..Not impressed!
I reckon it wouldn't be a problem if you live in the US but ordering from overseas was a nightmare! They cost $159.95 and then shipping on top brought the price up to around what you can pick them up for in London anyway in Office or urban outfitters, you can track the delivery on the site which is quite handy and thats what I did but when i thought...ok this is getting a bit long now, the tracking update was so vague! it didnt explain atall what was going on, I went to my local post office (where the deliveries go to) and they said it was at customs, Surely enough it was but they didnt let me know for a good few days, I had to phone up and then pay £32.10 over the phone which was VAT i think...I thought that was a bit out of order! I contacted Solestruck and they said it had been given a new tracking number once it entered the UK.....well thanks for letting me know!
So I waited 22 days for my beloved litas to arrive...Which meant after a while my excitement kind of drifted..I begun to think they might not come!
All I can say is...I wouldn't recommend solestruck if you are ordering from the UK!
HOWEVER! Because I hate to be negative! Now they have arrived I LOVE them and they are just as amazing as I thought they would be, I just like to stare at them...haha! They are great quality and the colour and finish is perfect, I tried them on and the feel quite comfortable, they wobble a little bit but I defiantly need to just get used to them!
Now I am planning what colour to get next...hehe! (Im wearing them tonight so i'll give you guys an update!)
Has anyone else had delivery problems? Maybe mine was just a one-off, anyone got any tips or tricks for walking in them? =]

On monday it was my mums birthday so that evening we headed uptown to a lovely restaurant called 'Belgo' (I believe) As usual before leaving the house I was rushing around my room, tearing clothes out of wardrobes and stressing about what to wear! This is what I ended up wearing haha, I know it looks short but I was wearing a H&M bodycon skirt underneath so it wasn't too risque'!
It was lovely and after that we went to Hagan Daaz and then headed home, I fell in love with the colour of this wall and wished I painted some of the walls in my room that colour haha!

This was my outfit today =] I was on Oxford street yesterday and I thought I would check out Monki in Selfridges, I had remembered Barbara mentioning the shop in one of her videos so I thought I would have a look! I really loved the pieces, I wanted to get so many bits but you know when you have to refrain yourself! The prices are what really impressed me, Really reasonable...H&M type of prices.

I found this gorgeous white lace top and these chelsea boots for only £30 which I thought was good for the quality!

Have any of you been there? I think its my new favourite shop!

Le theatre of the nameless

Hey dolls,
The other week was an Illamasqua event and I always love their events! Always stunningly presented and full of intricate details and fun things to look at and do. I was so gutted I couldn't make it but they were lovely enough to send me along a few pieces from the new collection! 'Theatre of the nameless'.
As usual its a gorgeous collection and spot on for A/W, Some of the colours I would wear more than others though!
I always love the imagery that showcases the collections so I took a snap of one of my favourite looks.

I received 'Kink' nail varnish which is a kind of muted moss green, 'Beguile' pure pigment which is an amazing fairy dust kind of powder, reminds me a little of reflects by MAC but with a twist and 'Facade' intense lipgloss which is a nude brown colour,
This lipgloss isnt something i'd usually go for because it dosent do too much for my skin tone but i'll try and work with it!

All in all the collection is another hit from Illamasqua, their collections are always awe-inspiring, I would love to try out some of the other pieces and my favourite from what I received is probably the pigment (for which the picture dosent do justice!)

[I'm getting quite frequent with the old posts eh? haha I hope you like!]

Today I took a trip uptown with my sister, I am skint at the moment so I only picked up some vintage levi's and a mens college vest (sounds so dodgy lol) from Beyond retro and Rokit. It was nice as always but also...tiring! I now sit on my bed watching family and trying to get over what I just witnessed...Geordie shore...wth lol

My outfit today was kind of casual and black and white! I wanted to look ok but still be kind of comfy!

Oh my gosh I went into Urban outfitters to try on some creepers (because I WISH I had some!) and as we were about to leave I spotted.......wait for it..... JC Litas! I tried them on and didnt want to take them off, they only seemed to have this design though which is a bit weird but I guess its not the worst one! They're flogging them from £120 though...hmmm
I eventually had to take them off and leave =[ otherwise they might have come and asked me to leave the store or something haha

This post may not appeal to some of you but its a cool accessory which I thought some of you might want to know about because I personally love them!
I was recently sent over some headphones from Urbanears, they are a great bright, funky, trendy accessory aswell as wicked headphones sound wise! They have an array of colours to choose from, literally...loads! it was really hard to choose, I went with a pastel green (Pistachio) because thats an unusual choice for me and I thought something different would be nice =]

They have been seen on Jameela Jamil and Snoop dawwwg haha, I thought that was nifty! I love Jameela Jamil ^_^

I believe these ones retail at £60 which I think is an ok price, They do earphones aswell if you are a little tighter on cash, I think they would be a perfect fun kind of splurge or birthday present. They sound is great, its not the 'dre beats' kind of sound but then you have to pay hundreds for that!

I love mine and I love the colour! They are also soft to the touch and have a lovely velvety feel,

I was recently sent along this gorgeous nude, wrap, pleated skirt from LOVE I picked it out from a large selection of tops, bottoms, dresses and skirts. I thought as its a skirt I can wear it a few different ways (rather than a dress maybe) Its lightweight, flowy and sheer, In other words perfect for this years trends! The only thing is it is quite long so if you are short its helpful to pop on some heels!

I was recently sent some dashing shorts from Native heart, they do lots of different styles, you can contact them if you would like them distressed or studded in a certain way and they'll customise them for you..which is smashing! I chose some studded on the back (they're a bit too small for me though =[) and then I spotted these pink ones and fell in love!

They also do other pieces which are equally as on-trend and unique, every time i check the site something new seems to of been added! I really recommend the site if you like that bohemian/edgy look =]

I bought a few magazines the other day which I still need to read through but i just thought it would look cute haha! Anywhoodle, i'm getting prepared to watch 'Insidious' tonight with the boy, i've seen it before but hid the entire time, I shall try to actually watch it this time! haha

Hello lovlies!
So the day before yesterday I met up with the lovely jubbly Shirley ^_^ some of you may know her from her stunning blog meek-n-mild, if not, check it out!
We met to go to a press event so we had a look around the shops and had a starbucks beforehand..but then we realised that we both mistook the time of the event and we regrettably missed it! fail haha
But it actually turned out great because I got to spend some quality time with Shirley and it was funtimes! I picked up some jewellery from Topshop, some storage from MIJI and some magazines from selfridges, we wanted to go and check out forever21 but they had blocked it off! =[
Anywhoodle, then we found some quieter spots to snap our outfits, Shirley snapped these for me! (on her amazing camera..i want it! haha)

Hey dolls,

Sorry for less posts at the moment, it was my birthday on Wednesday and so its been pretty crazy, heres what I got up to ^_^

We had breakfast at Cafe' Rouge where I made my sister try the french toast with fruit (Im a bit obsessed with it now) we just about reached it to still get the breakfast menu by two minutes (we didnt run to catch it or anything....-___- lol)
Then after we made our way up to west end where my mum surprised me by taking us to Savannah Jerk, it had the most amazing caribbean food! I had Achee and saltfish with rice and peas for my main meal...NOM!
Then my family also surprised me by taking us to go and see The phantom of the opera! I hadnt been before and had always wondered what It was like..it was spectacular, the singing was breathtaking...ahh now I want to watch the film!
Then we had a little dessert at Haagen Dazs (Ice cream and a brownie!) and we plodded off home rather sleepy!
It was such a lovely day and im so thankful! Also thank you to everyone who sent me bday wishes on twitter! or anywhere else =]

The last few photos are my bday presents! It was so lovely of my family, I got some CHANEL perfume and a powder compact, a lovely necklace, a cheeky mug, some lush goodies and some white Docs!

I didn't want to post this as a brag, I hope no-one took it that way! Just wanted to share my bday with you =] hope you liked this post and happy birthday to anyone celebrating it at the moment!

My Forever 21 experience (Oxford street)

Hey dolls,
So last sunday I visited Forever 21 on Oxford street, its just opened recently so I was excited to go! I've been before in the US where I thought it was...ok..but I wanted to see what the UK one would be like.
I was disappointed. lol It was full of floral prints, cheap looking tribal prints and big text prints on tops etc, The store is decorated beautifully, very modern, with chandeliers and lovely stands, But I liked the interior design better than the clothing!
What I did like was the jewellery, theres a large selection so I found a few bits, I had to control myself! I also liked the accessories, I had my eye on one of the laptop cases but £15 for a laptop case? hmm
Its known to be quite cheap but actually looking back...its not extremely cheap, I think Primark is the winner for very good prices and trendy clothing.

Alot of people have said its very hit and miss so I will give it another chance =] I reckon the autumn/winter collections might be better! I just cant wear frilly floral!

So here is what I bought, You may have seen it already on my new video! But if not I thought some of you might be interested =]

Hey dolls,
So on friday me and Ricky decided to go to Manchester just to get away for a day or two and because we wanted to visit the city again, We drove there and back and had a great time =] If a little rushed!
Day one we went into town and done a bit of shopping, we went to the hard rock cafe (NOM!) and then hit the shops again lol (I actually didn't buy too much) then in the evening we just ordered room service and crashed because we were nackerd!
Day two we checked out and headed over to the Trafford center (thank god for sat-nav! its hard to find!) We had breakfast at Cafe' Rouge where I had the most amazing french toast with fruit! We walked around and then headed home.
I actually felt really ill the second day because the A/C gave me a cold! But overall it was really nice, good to get away and I really like it there =] My fave spots were the Urban outfitters and the food court in the Trafford center haha!
Thankfully we had ok weather as its been a bit hit and miss recently,
Now im back home, on arriving I had some bad news at home so thats kind of had me on a downer but trying to pull through it...=]

Hello Dolls!
I hope you are all well, its been a while! I recently returned from Lanzarote, if you are not sure where this is, its a small spanish speaking Canary island which is off the coast of Africa.
It was lovely there, very hot, it was around 30 Degrees (celcius) but with ferocious winds which were actually handy while sun-bathing because it cools you down but when you have just done your hair it is rather annoying.
It is a volcanic island so there is alot of lava rock and places to go and see the volcanos, we went to see a lava lagoon place one day but it was a total rip-off, anyways, the beaches were lovely as you can see!

I am now tan! haha, I dont really like being in the sun for too long to be honest, i get agitated but my sister (who does like the sun) is always like 'why do you always want to be out the sun...you're weird' lol...It gets too hot I tells ya!

I have missed blogging alot! Before i went away it was really hard to blog because I was moving my stuff back from Southampton where I was attending uni which I have now finished and am awaiting my results (yes, still! because they lost my work) and I actually finished moving the day before we left for Lanzarote! So you can imagine the chaos!

Now I am back home, I have sorted out my room and I am alot more free and my head is alot clearer! So more blogging to come =] I also want to do more outfit posts however the weather isn't very forthcoming at the moment, as much as I love the rain..its terrible for photography!

I shall stop babbling now, I hope you like the pics! If you have been there or are going do let me know!

Hey dolls,
I thought I might update you all on my current everyday face, I dont use both foundations, one or the other! I'd say they are medium coverage but as it gets hotter I will probably use less and less coverage.
I LOVE this mascara, its not the best for length but if you want volume go for this one! To me its what Loreal voluminous should have been. I've been liking the pink lip look recently but I am a bit random, it depends on my mood but I just love 'Please me' ^_^

Sometimes I go for a bit of blusher but usually I'll just sweep a touch of bronzer over my cheekbones, I may get a darker colour of this bronzer though because I feel like it almost blends into my skin colour!

This e.l.f brow gel is great, well worth the £1.50! I use it everyday, Sometimes I dont feel like whacking out the gel liner because I get quite lazy with my makeup during the summer so a liquid liner is easier and I do love this one!

Thats about it really, I always need a good concealer and this MAC one is brill but I also love the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer, alot cheaper!

I got this little makeup bag from a shop in china town, I LOVE it! Its so cute ^_^

Farewell Fashion face!

My deepest apologies for my lack of posts! Uni work has got so heavy recently just before hand-in and ive been so stressed! But i've now got it under control ^_^
I hope you all liked my 'Face of fashion' posts where I went onto the streets on London to snap street style photos, This post is to conclude my face of fashion posts as i've come to the end of my project! I would still go out and snap people for you all to see though if you would like.
I really enjoyed gathering street style photos in London as street style is something which really inspires me and I went on to create my magazine from that work! (Filled with a few extras also)

Thank you all for your feedback on my face of fashion posts and for coming through the journey with me! Also a massive thank you to everyone who sent in their own style photos!

I used 6 of the emails which I received to create my online 'Double click' feature and it turned out great!

I want to share with you two blogs that I am especially loving (they sent me in their photos)

This is Kate and her style is AMAZING! Its so fresh, unique bright and fun! She's from the UK and I just couldn't stop scrolling through her blog, Its really inspiring and she also has some DIY posts. Also her hair is wicked and I love how she does her makeup, she pulls of red on the eyes better than i've seen anyone do! Check out her blog here.

This is Kasia, Her blog is great and I think she should have alot more followers than she does if that makes sense?! Such a great fashion sense, love the photography! Her style is chic, casual and i'd say quite european, very on-trend and sometimes has a rocker edge! Perfect ^_^
She's from Poland and I love how her blog gives you a little glimpse into her life there, i'm always interested in different countries and they style they have where they are =] Check out her blog here.

J'adore Paris!

Hey dolls!
So after I recovered from my horrible illness me and my sister Danny were able to take a quick trip to Paris! We had been wanting to for months so it was really exciting to finally go!
We done alot of walking, photographs and filming, it all went so quickly though!
Unfortunatly we didnt really have the chance to shop much but we were ok with that, We just wanted to see the city =]
It was SOOO hot (well, hot for us Londoners) about 25-28 degrees Celsius so on some days I had no clue what to wear!
Also dont judge me about wearing that same shirt twice, I had an outfit crisis on the third day haha didn't know what to wear!

A sleek event!

Hi dolls,

I was recently at the amazing 'Destination S' Sleek makeup event and here are some pictures to share some of the day with you!

It was jam-packed with makeup, music, drinks and dancing!

It was such an amazing event and I want to say a big thank you to Sleek!

At the end of the day there was a Zumba dance competition where the winner would win a trip to the Caribbean! Me being my shy self backed out of doing it *blush* but my sister jumped into the competition and actually won! Its unreal! I will keep you all posted =]

Such a lovely day and there was so much effort and energy put into the event, cant wait to try out some of the makeup a brought back with me from the event!

Illamasqua Toxic nature event

Hey dolls!

Hope you are all well,

I recently had the amazing chance to attend the Illamasqua blogger event in london!

We were able to view the new collection 'Toxic Nature' which was inspired by the strength and force of the earth and also the way in which we are venerable to it, (E.g the volcanic ash cloud of last year). The collection consists of pastel, neutral and muddy shades all of which are very flattering on the skin and there are many different ways to wear them (even in the hair!).

Even the pastels have an ash undertone and are slightly muted which is a fresh twist on the usual S/S colour palette.

My favourite pieces from the collection are the 'Emerge' peachy matte Cream pigment and the precision ink anti-liner pen in 'Glister' which is skin toned with subtle purple shimmers.

There were live makeup looks being created, face charts which we could create looks on and we could even have our nails done by some amazing 'Wah nails' girls! I chose to have purity on my nails (peachy nude) and am totally in love with it!

It was a really lovely event, so interesting and included many intricate details which were of course very Illamasqua esque including a smoke machine at the entrance, loved it!

I got the chance to meet some lovely bloggers and all of the people from Illamasqua were so friendly and approachable =]

Thank you to Illamasqua for the lovely event and I have to tell you guys, please check out the Glister anti-eyeliner! So unique and stunning! ^_^

MAC vegas Volt & Wonderwoman collection

Hey dolls,

I thought i would share with you what i think about Vegas Volt lipstick, pink lemonade lipgloss and some bits from the wonderwoman collection!

Above is what vegas volt looks like on me with pink lemonade on top, I love it! I wasnt sure about vegas volt on its own because it does appear very orange on me which im not used to but with the lipgloss on top I am in Love! =]

Then we have the Wonderwoman bronzer in Golden Lariat, it has a contour/bronze shade, a copper toned shade and a highlighter shade, they are all lovely! My favourite is probably the middle bronze shade.

There is also the blusher in Amazon princess, lovely bright pink colour with a bronzy rose colour by the side, I havent tried this one out as much yet but it looks gorgeous!

The packaging im still not sure about, I dont think I would bring it out with me but its nice to have in my collection!

MAC LFW Event!

Hello Dolls,

I recently had the amazing opportunity to attend the MAC event at LFW (day 2), We watched a short video on the s/s makeup trends and then we had a makeup masterclass by the fabulous Terry barber (who i'm photographed with above) who is the MAC director of makeup artistry. He re-ceated an amazing, 70's inspired, red and yellow/gold look which is the most up to the minute seen look at the Jean Pierre Braganzea's AW11 show! I loved it, i'm scared to wear reds but this swayed me!

We also had the privilege to view the a/w11 Betty Jackson show, This was my first time at a catwalk show and I was absolutely blown away! i felt like I was in another world it was so glamourous =]

Afterwards me, Shirley, Zara and milly mingled for a little bit and had our makeup done by some of the mac artists! I had a glossy red lip done (Which started to get on my teeth so i took it off after a little while lol)

After the event me and shirley made our way over to Oxford street for a spot of food and shopping. At topshop there was a talk going on also which was from fashion blogger Susie bubble and the blogger who writes for topshop's Inside/out, it was really interesting to listen to =] I got some footage!

The whole day was amazing and I cant say thank you enough to those who made it happen!

Everyone at LFW was dressed breathtakingly, it was like being inside a magazine! I must go back to get more style snaps,

I made my way up to knightsbridge the other day where I tried to get a few photos, I thought it would be good as it was a saturday but the busyness proved to be too much at times! Made it a tiny bit more difficult to stop people!

Hey dolls!

So this post may seem a little bit random but i'm actually going to be doing a new series of posts which are London street style!

For my FMP at university (I study Fashion styling) I have chosen to create a magazine consisting purely of street style (young/trendy/unique/inspiring style) and I will be sharing some of the images for the magazine online on my blog!

I will still be posting my usual types of posts aswell dont worry! but its something new, fresh and hopefully interesting! I love street style myself so i'm going to have a go at capturing my own collection of inspiring style images.

Hey dolls!

I have an exiting Post for you today!

It was very kind of Company magazine to feature me in the 'Nice to tweet you' section in the online page of the magazine! (pg 100)

I answered some questions about my blog and about makeup trends etc, you may have seen it already but if you haven't, you should take a peek!

Its so exciting to have my little face in a magazine! It feels unreal =o

At the end of the section I shared some of my favourite bloggers/tweeters but I actually wanted to add loads more! Theres so many blogs that I read!

I just really wanted to share this with everyone, its really exciting and i'm so honoured that I have been able to get this opportunity! Im still shocked! haha

A week in close-ups

How are you all? excited for christmas? I cant wait! I do love the snow but not when it stops us all from getting around though! gr lol But anywho as I wait for our cottage pie (veggie version) to be served as im back at my family home, I have collected these images together as i thought you might like them =]

1. I had a friend over recently and we had fajitas and a cheeky cheesecake for dessert, it was cut and then i realised it was a peace sign! aw =]

2. My new floral headband I brought from primark yesterday (where I bumped into a subscriber, hii!) It was only £2 and i squealed when i saw it, Ive been looking for one everywhere!

3. Starbucks trip, it was freezing outside so the window looked all frosty

4. Balmshell Lipglosses which are so cute! I received them in the post a few days ago =]

5. The jewellery which I bought home to London with me, excluding my trusty necklaces!

7. One of our dogs in the snow, she didnt realise she had snow on her nose i think haha aw!

H&M Sherling jacket + My experience

Hey dolls,

I have a bit of a rant for you today, sorry!

So I purchased this H&M jacket online around 3 weeks ago, at the time I had no idea the delivery would take that long, I assumed it was coming from somewhere in the UK and so would take the usual around 3-5 days (standard delivery).

However a few days after I ordered the jacket online I thought they were taking a while to text me with a message saying it has been dispatched etc, I went online and logged in, to find the jacket was going to take around another 2 weeks to come! I was in shock! I have never ordered something from a high street online store and waited for 3 weeks!!

So I waited and waited.....and waited, finally I received a text saying it has been dispatched and was going to be delivered soon by a courier.

Yesterday I had to attend Uni and so I was out of the flat in the morning and missed the delivery man (grr) which is obviously my own fault! So I had to wait till today as they supposedly don't return on the same day for you when you phone to arrange another time.

This morning there was a knock at my door from a young looking fellow who gave me a odd stare as I signed for the package, anywho I done a cartwheel of happiness on my way back to bedroom and went to open the package.

When I opened the package there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke which seemed to have been trapped inside the package which I found really odd and not very nice =/

HOWEVER

The jacket is lovely! Long waiting time aside its very comfortable and very warm! I could easily only wear one layer under it (with underwear also of course...lol)

So basically I am APPALLED with the delivery system H&M seem to have in the UK and I will NEVER EVER be purchasing anything online from them again!

I think its absolutely ridiculous that such a popular and huge UK high street chain takes 3 weeks to deliver you something as simple as one little jacket!

My bf suggested that they are new with delivering from their online store so maybe thats why but i think thats no excuse!

So sorry about my moaning but I wanted to make you all aware how long it might take!

Deco Deluxe calling!

Hey dolls!

As some of you may have seen in my favourites video, I Deco deluxed my phone!

The kit is from Les tai tai and along with the sweetie pieces (or whatever design you choose) you will need the deco paper (if you don't have an iphone as they then have a clear case), the fashion parts glue and then a tool to use to mix the glue and place the pieces.

- First I placed the deco paper ( thin plastic sheets) on the surface of my phone so theres no glueing to the actual phone which is great.

- Then You mix the glue using equal amounts, be sure not to use too much as it hardens in 5 minutes and you only need a little bit as a time.

- Then you place the glue on the piece and stick it where you want it!

Its a really easy process and its fun to create your own design =] The only thing is it does take some time but if you have patience then you will be fine!

Be sure to decorate your surface in a well ventilated area because the glue smell is quite strong!

I love mine and i'll probably be adding to it as some point, the glue holds the pieces on really well!

I wasn't asked to blog on this or anything I just really wanted to show you all as its a fun and unique idea! (You can also use them on any surface really, ipods, cameras, laptops etc)

Furry Pixie Boots

Hey dolls,

So yesterday I got some new boots for winter, I've got other boots which are grey & black but are quite masculine so I really wanted some boots which had a slightly softer look and faux fur is rather popular this season (I like it anyway if its in or not)

They are from River Island and are around £44, There are some similar ones in Topshop which are even more expensive and I think aren't even as nice so if you like these try and grab em!

I think they'll go really well with opaque tights and probably skinny jeans/Jeggings aswell. Im excited to start wearing them! ^_^

They feel really sturdy which is another reason why I like em, I dont like buying shoes that feel like they'll wear out in days!

They kind of remind me of Peter pan shoes? Don't ask why lol

Life is a little hectic at the moment, uni work is pilling up and its hard to keep up with!

Sometimes I have a bit of bloggers block and am not sure what to write about, I think I want to do more outfit posts but its hard to take the photos myself and i'm still trying to train the bf to take decent pics! haha

Anyway how are you all? Anyone else stressed out with uni work? I sure am!

My foxy Locks!

Hey dolls,

I was recently sent some extensions from the gorgeous Imogen over at FoxyLocks extensions.

I have the colour 6 (chestnut brown) in the Deluxe 20', 160g set.

The hair is human hair and is amazing! Its very thick and feels strong, it gives alot of volume so if thats what you like, you would love them! the colour is also gorgeous, exactly what I always usually like so it matched perfectly. The only thing might be if you don't like your head to feel a little heavy you might not want to put them all in at once but that dosent bother me too much.

I was also sent along some of the foxy locks eyelashes, The natural glamour and flirty flare ones. I am wearing the flirty flare lashes in the video and in the photo above, really lovely lashes, lightweight and very soft.

My winter coat

Hey Dolls,

Sorry I haven't blogged in a little while!

So I brought my winter coat a little while ago but never got round to posting about it!

Its from Topshop and was about £60 (but used my student card aswell heheh)

I was looking around for a leopard faux fur one but couldn't find a decent one that was below about £80 *side eye*

I had had my eye on this one for a while and when I saw it in Topshop during my coat hunt I decided I had to have it!

I love it because it is a great length for my height (5.4ft), I love the long sleeves and I love the faux fur lined hood!

As its England hoods are always good! I just think its a really cute coat...hurrah!

Where have you found your winter coat? Im still on the look out for a faux fur one! Might check New Look =]

A bunch of 'Good Things'

Hey dolls,

I come to you today with another review! Hope thats okay =]

I was sent these products actually a few months ago now but as they are skincare I really wanted to try them out for a while to be able to give an honest opinion.

The products are from a company called 'Good Things' which consists of a large range of skincare which you can find in Boots. What really attracted me to these products was that they are made of natural ingredients ('yeah yeah'..no they really are! lol) and they contain no parabins or nastyness! Also they are specially desined for teenage skin of the more oily kind so i thought i'd give it a try!

I was sent the facial mask, cleanser and moisturiser.

Here is how the facial mask looks when you squeeze it out. its a really nice formula. It feels like some other clay based masks i've used in the past but it also is made from avocado and Goji berry which is interesting. It smoothes onto the skin really easily and you remove it after 5 minutes. Afterwards my skin is alot smoother, I dont think it stopped breakouts or anything but it feels and smells really nice.

Next for the cleanser, they say massage it into the skin and then remove it with a damp cloth, I didn't really have a damp cloth so I used cotton wool but I think it still worked really well. When nothing else with get off some makeup that wont budge..this will! I love using this because you can really get all of the extra dirt off of your face, the dirt you wouldn't see and think is there. Again I don't think it stopped breakouts or anything but a really great cleanser.

Now this moisturiser is defiantly for oily skin. I se about a pea-sized amount, massage it into my skin and in a few seconds it had disappeared. It dosent leave me looking shiny and it dosent leave any residue. I love this product! It also smells like berries, all the products do.

Overall I really rate the Good things products, I think they are all great for teenage and oily skin.

They also sent along 2 nail polishes and a tinted lip balm from ModelsOwn

The darker colour is 'Gun Grey' and the blue is called 'Baby Blues'

I've always loves Modelsown nail varnishes, they apply great and look great on,

I like baby blues better, gorgeous colour. gun grey is ok but its probably not one I would reach for as much! looks nice on though.

I love the tinted lip balm. The colour looks like it would be really dark and scary but when you apply it its really sheer! In the photo above I have applied it and it just looks similar to my natural lip colour but better =]

Also it makes my lips SO soft! better than lots of lip balms I have tried!

I hope some of you found this helpful/interesting!

I love both brands and will defiantly purchase more products from them in the future,

FYF Review!

Hey dolls,

Recently I was sent over some products from FYF (Flawless you forever) to try out. I thought it would be great to have a look and try of some of their products as I think they are fairly new and more unheard of than other brands so it would be good to let you guys know what I think bout them.

FYF create makeup products aswell as skin products and spa products so if makeup isn't your thing you could check out the other types of products =]

FYF create mineral makeup which, as we know, is better for the skin...hurrah!

First up the Couture Pout Mineral Lipgloss, this one is in 'Alba'

The first thing i notice is the smell, very strong! It smells like Toffee, I liked it but i think i would prefer the smell to be a little more subtle.

It applies nicely and has a doe-foot applicator, the lipgloss looked slightly metallic, its a purple toned colour which is different from what i usually go for and I wasnt too sure about its colour on my skin tone, i may stick to my usual lip colours!

Now the Floral Blush, iv'e used this in a recent tutorial where I was shocked by how pigmented it was! its very pigmented and gives a lovely colour, perfect if you have a similar skin tone to me. Also you can focus on certain areas to get more earthy tones or rosy ones.

The only down side to this blush is that it dosent stay put very long, even when you swatch it, it rubs away very easily like powder. Gorgeous colour and design though.

I also received the gold eyeliner (which I didn't photograph due to my ditzyness) Its a small tube with the usual type of liner brush. I don't use any other liner than black usually so unfortunately I don't think i'll get alot of use out of it but here it is swatched.

The staying power is pretty good and the colour is nice.

I hope this has been somewhat interesting, I love trying out new brands because I am quite a creature of habit with my MAC and drugstore.

I dont think i would buy any of these products again but I might go for different shades or try their skincare range. Also I don't think the prices are too cheap which might be an issue for fellow students! But I think you'll have to try bits and bobs out and see what works for you.

My favourite product which I received would be the blush, I love the colours even though i have to top up!

Hey dolls,

This is a bit random and I was wondering wither i should post this! But I dressed as a Vampire last night for halloween (Innovative) lol

I used AndreasChoice's tutorial as inspiration & i reckon it turned out ok!

It took about 45 mins to do the makeup and as i've chopped my hair off that didn't take long..hurrah!

Just a quick post that I thought would be fun, did you dress up for halloween? What did you go as? =]

Rush Hour

Hey Dolls,

So today was a hectic day, I was all over the place!

My mum and sister came to visit me in Southampton but because my car has broken down most of the time we were trying to get that sorted! ahh! haha

Afterwards we sprinted to town to get a starbucks and grab a few bits (the day before we also visited Primark)

Here is me and Danny, some bits that I brought and the headband from Primark which I am in love with! Its so thick and cozy and perfect for a bad hair day! Lalove it.

I picked up Volume Million lashes and some tops also, i'll try to do a review on the mascara at some point =]

Now I am relaxing after a crazy day and thought a bit of blogging about it was in order!
